The enhanced ECLIPSE Model 705 guided wave radar transmitter is equipped with a 304 stainless steel housing specifically designed for sanitary applications. This instrument meets the requirements of the sanitary industry for wetted and non-wetted materials, process connections, and surface finishes.

Working Principle:

The ECLIPSE guided wave radar transmitter is based on TDR technology (Time Domain Reflectometry). TDR utilizes a guided wave (probe) to propagate electromagnetic pulse signals. When the pulse reaches the liquid surface, which has a higher dielectric constant than the air (εr=1) it travels through, part of the pulse is reflected. The signal transmission time is precisely measured via ultra-high-speed timing circuitry, enabling accurate measurement of liquid level (or solid level).
